This was an acrylic pour donated to Willows Animal Sanctuary http://www.willowsanimals.com/m/mtop.html?fromGiftAidDeclaration=.
Due to Corona Virus, Willows Animal Sanctuary, near Aberdeen had to close to visitors and the charity was struggling to make enough money to feed and care for their rescued animals. https://www.facebook.com/helpsavewillows/ The auction ran from 29 April to 3 May 2020. I’m delighted to say that my painting raised £200 for them and was sent to the generous bidder in New Zealand. Louise named the painting “Flatpoint Paua” because she saw my painting online following a walk to the beach to collect Paua shells.
Arthur’s Seat Sunset was painted live at PwC Edinburgh office in May 2018 for a silent auction to raise money in aid of Street Soccer Scotland. I really enjoyed talking to my colleagues about painting techniques and I’m very proud to have raised £250 for charity.
